With the abundance of soft fruits in Fife during the summer, it’s hard not to be taking advantage and make jam. Our fruit comes from Blacketyside fruit farm just 9 miles away from our kitchen and, like with all our products, we’re using British sugar made from British sugar beat. so unlike most jams, ours is 100% British
What it is…
Natural and traditional small batch jam
Yum with…
Toast and crumpets at breakfast, scones and hot cross buns (but only when it’s easter) or as a filling for a Victoria sandwich

My Great Aunt Dinah gave me the recipe for hot Pepper Jelly. She lives in Jamaica where the Scotch Bonnet Pepper grows, it is this pepper that gives Hot Pepper Jelly it’s Amazing flavor and heat.
What it is…
Savory jelly made from Sweet peppers and Scotch Bonnet peppers. Scotch Bonnets have a powerful kick but also a delicious flavour. The heat does not last long but instead you are left with a nice fresh pepper flavour.
Yum with…
Casserole, Fish Pie, Lasagne, Spices up any soup or Stew, Chocolate Cake (see recipes), Cheese (especially cottage and cream), Pies, charcuterie and sandwiches.

Raith Fruit can proudly say that it has supplied the catering industry in Scotland since 1952, and to this day has remained family owned and run.
During this time Raith Fruit has established itself as a leading supplier of quality fruit and vegetables.
Charlie Brady senior initially formed the company after working on a local market garden. He decided to fully utilize the knowledge which he had acquired over many years and subsequently set up on his own.
Charlie Brady senior initially formed the company after working on a local market garden. He decided to fully utilize the knowledge which he had acquired over many years and subsequently set up on his own.
Although the company is primarily known for supplying fruit and vegetables, its product list has grown over the years, providing the catering industry with a comprehensive range of products.
Sadly in 1993 Charlie passed away. However, the company continues to grow and develop under the management of his son Charlie Brady junior.
Over the years there have been many improvements, but one thing has not changed - the dedication to customers. The company has developed each year with its policy of offering customers a variety of products ranging from locally produced to exotic produce. In addition to the choice and quality, the company also operates a daily delivery service.

The management has made a commitment to the training and development of staff and drivers.
The Brady family are extremely proud of the fact that today the company is still a family owned concern, with key members of the Brady family carrying out the day to day tasks of running a successful business.
